Summary
Amends title XVI (Supplemental Security Income) of the Social Security Act to: (1) increase from $300 to $360 the annual SSI benefit payable to a beneficiary who is an inmate of a hospital, extended care facility, nursing home, or intermediate care facility; and (2) increase from $600 to $780 the annual SSI benefit payable to a beneficiary with an eligible spouse if both are inmates of a hospital, extended care facility, nursing home, or intermediate care facility.
