Summary

Directs the President to report annually to the Congress on the U.S. national environmental strategy. Requires such report to include: (1) a discussion of national and global environmental problems and an assessment of all Federal programs dealing with such issues; (2) an assessment of the integration of U.S. environmental programs and policies with other U.S. programs and policies, State programs and policies, programs and policies of metropolitan areas with more than a million inhabitants, and programs and policies of nonprofit conservation organizations; and (3) an assessment of the effectiveness and integration with specified U.S. strategies of the U.S. national environmental strategy.
