Summary

National Cyber Security Defense Team Authorization Act - Authorizes the Special Advisor to the President for Cyberspace Security to establish the National Cyber Security Defense Team to: (1) identify segments of the Internet infrastructure that are vulnerable to terrorist attack; and (2) recommend to Federal, State, and local government agencies and private entities means of eliminating such vulnerabilities. Subjects the Team to the direction and control of the President, acting through the National Security Council.
