Summary
Amends the Toxic Substances Control Act to extend the deadlines by which local educational agencies must inspect school buildings for friable asbestos-containing materials, develop and implement operation and maintenance and management plans for such materials, and obtain State approval of such management plans. Amends the Asbestos School Hazard Abatement Act of 1984 to increase and extend the authorization of appropriations for the asbestos abatement program through FY 1992.
