Summary
Equal Educational Opportunity Amendments - Specifies that the provisions of the Education Amendments relating to nondiscrimination on the basis of sex shall apply only to education programs and activities which directly receive financial assistance from the Federal Government. Prohibits any agency or department of the Federal Government from preparing, publishing, or enforcing any orders, rules, or regulations relating to voluntary athletic programs on the marital or parental status of any student at any educational institution. Permits educational institutions to adopt tests or other standards governing admission, provided such standards are reasonably related to a proper educational purpose, without violating the provisions of the Education Amendments.
