Summary

Directs the Administrator of General Services to investigate the feasibility of the temporary transfer of the Declaration of Independence from the custody of the National Archives to the custody of the Secretary of the Interior. States that such transfer shall be for the purpose of placing such copy on display in the First United States Bank in Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from June 1, 1976 to October 31, 1976. Authorizes the appropriation of such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act.
