Summary
Federal Reserve Act Amendments - Provides that presidents of Federal Reserve System banks shall be appointed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. Provides that the President, in appointing members of the Board of Governors, shall have due regard for consumer and labor interests, as well as agricultural, financial, industrial, and commercial interests. Provides that the expenses and disbursements of the Board shall not exceed amounts approved in appropriations acts, and that the amount of compensation paid to employees under the exclusive direction of a particular member may not exceed four times that member's compensation.
