Summary
Advanced Technology Center Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Commerce to establish a program to provide grants to the States and to the private sector for activities to encourage joint applied research and development efforts and to provide education and training in technical skills essential to the growth of business entities. Prescribes criteria to govern grant applications and awards, including measures to assure that monies are used in the interest of assisting the commercialization and transfer of technologies or of developing process and manufacturing technologies.
