Summary

Authorizes the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts to make unused railroad passenger depots available to communities for cultural activities under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act of 1965. Authorizes the Chairman to acquire such unused depots for purposes of this Act. Directs the Chairman to establish an advisory council to consult with him in carrying out this Act. Authorizes the appropriation of $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1975, and such sums as may be necessary for each succeeding fiscal year, for purposes of this Act.
