Summary

California Drug Interdiction Task Force Act of 1988 - Directs the Drug Enforcement Administration of the Department of Justice to create the California Drug Interdiction Task Force to augment the Federal anti-drug effort and assist State and local authorities in the war on drugs in California. Authorizes increases in the personnel levels in the Los Angeles area for the following entities to aid in such effort: (1) the Coast Guard; (2) the Customs Service; (3) the Immigration and Naturalization Service; (4) the Drug Enforcement Administration; (5) the Office of the U.S. Attorney; (6) the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; (7) the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and (8) the U.S. Marshals Service.
