Summary
Medicare Premium Fairness Act of 2002 - Amends part B title XVIII (Supplemental Security Income) (SSI) of the Social Security Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) to establish a geographic adjustment factor for each State based upon the average yearly amount of Medicare premiums paid to beneficiaries residing in that State. Requires the Secretary to provide for necessary adjustments of the monthly premium for each Medicare beneficiary to reflect the application of the geographic adjustment factors (either directly or as a Medicare Cost Sharing adjustment).
