Summary

Office for the Investigation and Prosecution of Terrorist Offenses Against United States Citizens Act - Establishes within the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice an Office for the Investigation and Prosecution of Terrorist Offenses Against United States Citizens. Confers upon such Office responsibility for the investigation and prosecution of Federal terrorist offenses committed against United States citizens or American-owned entities. States that the Office shall be headed by a Director to be appointed by the Attorney General. Outlines the authority and functions of such Office, including applying the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations statute (RICO) to expand the reach of the U.S. Government over terrorist crimes. Provides for the cooperation between such Office and other Federal agencies responsible for terrorism prevention. Authorizes appropriations.
