Summary

Title I: Dairy Products - Amends the Food and Agriculture Act of 1977 to increase the price support of milk from 80 to 85 percent of parity. Title II: Wheat Program - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1949 to increase the loan level of the 1978 through 1981 crops of wheat from $2.35 to $3.25 per bushel. Increases the established price from $3.00 to $4.10 per bushel for the 1978 crop. Title III: Feed Grain Program - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1970 to increase the loan level for the 1978 through 1981 crops of corn from $2.00 to $2.75 per bushel. Increases the established price from $2.10 to $3.00 for the 1978 crop. Title IV: Upland Cotton - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1949 to increase by ten cents per pound the land diversion payment rate for any producer who voluntarily reduces 1978 upland cotton acreage on any farm by 20 percent or more of 1977 cotton acreage. Title V: Public Law 480 - Requires minimum exports under Public Law 480 for fiscal year 1979 of 350,000,000 bushels of corn and feed grains and, 541,000,000 bushels of wheat and wheat products.
