Summary

National Food Stamp Reform Act for the Elderly - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture, in conjunction with the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, to prescribe regulations which would permit applicants and recipients of supplemental security income benefits under the Social Security Act to apply for food stamps at supplemental security income certification offices. Requires the States, under the provisions of the Food Stamp Act, to conduct nutrition education programs for purposes of informing food stamp recipients of effective means of planning, purchasing, and preparing foods in the most nutritionally adquate fashion. Defines the term "nutritionally adequate diet" under such Act.
