Summary
Cancer Center Reimbursement Reform Act of 1986 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to exempt any institution (or subunit of an institution) recognized by the National Cancer Institute as a comprehensive cancer center or a clinical cancer research center from prospective payment system limitations on payments for inpatient hospital services. Provides for the reimbursement of such centers on a reasonable cost basis.
