Summary

Youth Camp Safety and Health Act - Directs the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to develop model youth camp safety and health standards. Authorizes the Secretary to provide assistance to States planning to develop youth camp safety and health programs. Limits such Federal assistance to not more than 50 percent of a State's cost for such program. Requires any State to submit a youth camp safety plan to the Secretary before authorizing youth camps in the State to advertise their compliance with such Federal standards. Provides criminal penalties for advertising that falsely indicates such compliance.
