Summary
Violent Crime Prevention Act - Amends the Federal criminal code to prohibit the manufacture, transfer, or importation of .25 or .32 caliber ammunition. Permits the manufacture or importation of such ammunition for: (1) the use of the United States or any State or local government; and (2) testing authorized by the Secretary of the Treasury. Imposes a licensing fee of $1,000 per year for manufacturers and importers of .25 and .32 caliber ammunition.
