Summary
Breast Cancer Screening Act of 1990 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to cover screening mammographies for women over age 34 at a frequency which varies on the basis of a woman's age and risk of developing breast cancer. Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to implement procedures to notify eligible individuals of such coverage and promote its use.
