Summary
Quantum Computing Research Act of 2018 This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD), coordinating with the Office of Science and Technology Policy, to establish the Defense Quantum Information Consortium to address matters relating to quantum information sciences. DOD must establish a board to support the consortium. The board shall: (1) award grants to consortium members for quantum information research, (2) assist with ongoing research, and (3) facilitate partnerships between consortium members.
