Summary
Ginseng Truth in Labeling Act of 2000 - Requires each retailer of ginseng to inform consumers, at the final point of sale, of the country of origin of the ginseng by means of a label, stamp, mark, placard, or other clear and visible sign on the ginseng or on the package, display, holding unit, or bin containing the ginseng. Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to impose penalties for violations of such requirement.
