Summary

Amends the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 to increase the amounts of scholarship assistance authorized to be awarded and the training stipend provided under the Police Corps program. Increases to no more than 25 (currently, 10) percent, except with permission of the Director, the percentage of program participants that may be assigned each year to a statewide police force. Repeals provisions providing assistance to States and localities employing Police Corps participants. Extends the authorization of appropriations for the program.
