A bill to authorize the establishment of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Site in the State of Montana.

Summary

Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to: (1) establish the Lewis and Clark National Historic Site in Montana; and (2) enter into cooperative and management agreements with the State of Montana for rescue, firefighting, and law enforcement services with respect to such site. Specifies those lands which the Secretary is authorized to acquire for the establishment of such site. Provides that such lands shall revert to the State of Montana if the Secretary uses such lands for any purpose other than as authorized under this Act. Authorizes appropriations for FY 1986 and 1987, including specified sums for the construction of a visitor center.
