Summary

Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to exempt from the imposition of duties the cost of spare parts installed on U.S. vessels before entry into the United States, but only if a duty is paid under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States on each such spare part purchased in, or imported from, a foreign country. Amends the Customs and Trade Act of 1990 to extend such exemption for entries made on or before December 31, 1994.
