Summary
Act to Authorize the United States to Participate in Chapter II of the Patent Cooperation Treaty - Authorizes the United States to participate in and be bound by the provisions of Chapter II of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (concerning application procedures for obtaining international patents). Authorizes the Patent and Trademark Office to act as an international preliminary examining authority whose duties shall include the collection and transmittal of handling and preliminary examination fees with respect to international patent applications.
