Summary

Federal Jurisdictional Review and Revision Commission Act - Establishes a Federal Jurisdictional Review and Revision Commission to study the jurisdiction of Federal and State courts and to report to the President and the Congress on any revisions of related provisions of the Constitution and laws of the United States which the Commission may deem advisable. Requires that the study include: (1) a discussion of the application, consequences, and interpretation by the courts of the provisions of the Constitution and laws of the United States which establish Federal and State jurisdiction; (2) an analysis of the interrelation between the jurisdiction of Federal and State courts; (3) a discussion of the impact of jurisdictional provisions on the judicial system and on the litigant; (4) a discussion of any problems in Federal or State jurisdiction relating to substantive law, civil and criminal procedure, caseload, and State and Federal bars; and (5) legislative recommendations. Authorizes the Commission to receive financial assistance from sources other than the Government. Directs the Commission to report to Congress and the President within two years after its first meeting. Terminates the Commission 90 days after the submission of such report.
