Summary
Predisaster Hazard Mitigation Act of 2008 - Amends the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to: (1) require the President to award financial assistance under the pre-disaster hazard mitigation program on a competitive basis and to ensure that the amount guaranteed to each state under the program is not less than a specified amount; and (2) authorize appropriations for the program through FY2013.
