Summary

Federal Reporting Review Act - Directs the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct a study of the reporting requirements of Federal agencies to determine: (1) the extent to which such requirements are outmoded, duplicative, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome to small and independent business establishments, other businesses, and industry, and (2) the extent to which such requirements could be revised in a manner consistent with the public interest, and the policy set forth in the Alaska Pipeline Authorization Act in having accurate and current information about the economy, competition in the energy industry, and the effective enforcement of the Federal laws authorizing or requiring such reports. Requires the Comptroller General to report to the Congress within one year of the date of enactment of this Act.
