Summary
National Commission on Deficit Reduction Act - Establishes the National Commission on Deficit Reduction. Directs the Commission to: (1) conduct a comprehensive study of the elements of fiscal and monetary policies; and (2) report to the President and the Congress its recommendations for administrative and legislative action to reduce cyclical and structural budget deficits in order to promote reductions in unemployment and interest rates, encourage capital formation and investment, and sustain vigorous economic growth. Terminates the Commission 60 days after it submits such report. Authorizes appropriations.
