Summary
Women's Health Research Career Enhancement Act of 2000 - Amends the Public Health Service Act to authorize appropriations for FY 2001 through 2006 to enable the: (1) Director of the Office of Research on Women's Health to carry out the Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health Program, which supports the career development of scientists who are commencing basic, translational, clinical, behavioral, or health services research relevant to women's health in an interdisciplinary scientific setting; and (2) Director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to fund Women's Reproductive Health Research Career Development Centers.
