Summary

Amends the Truth in Lending Act to eliminate the itemization of credit card insurance premiums from the statement of finance charges where the consumer is given an unqualified right to cancel the insurance coverage. Makes changes in disclosure requirements in connection with consumer credit sales and consumer loans not under open end credit plans. Extends protection to holders of non-credit fund transfer cards with respect to unauthorized and fraudulent use. Sets deadlines for the filing of specified annual reports including that of the Federal Trade Commission.
