Increases the annual authorization for grants to the States for the preservation of historical properties to $150,000,000 for the next five years. Provides that, for the purposes of making grants for projects to preserve historic meeting houses and endangered properties of historical significance, the Secretary of the Interior may provide up to 90 percent of the cost of such project.
