Summary

Community Hospital Jobs Act of 2011 - Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to deem to meet the criteria for a sole community hospital (SCH), with respect to discharges during FY2011-FY2013, any hospital with Medicare provider number 51-0047. (An SCH is one which: (1) is more than 50 miles from any similar hospital, (2) is the exclusive provider of services to at least 75% of its service area populations, or (3) has been designated as an SCH under previous rules. An SCH is allowed special payment options under the Medicare Diagnostic Related Group [DRG] program.)
