Summary
Prison Conversion Enhancement Act of 1987 - Amends the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 to require, during the two-year period following enactment of this Act, the Administrator of General Services and the Attorney General to provide priority disposition for the conversion of suitable surplus property into correctional facilities. Directs the Attorney General to report to the Congress on the number of surplus properties certified for use as prison facilities. Directs the Administrator to report to the Congress on the number and location of properties which have been converted for use as prisons.
