Summary

Justice for Former American Hostages in Iran Act of 2013 - Establishes in the Treasury the American Hostages in Iran Compensation Fund to: (1) make payments to specified Americans held hostage in Iran and their family members; and (2) satisfy the claims of the members of the proposed class against Iran relating to the alleged taking of hostages or treatment of personnel of the U.S. embassy in Tehran, Iran, between November 3, 1979, and January 20, 1981. Imposes a surcharge, to be deposited into the Fund, of 30% on any fine or penalty imposed for a violation of any law or regulation for any economic activity regarding Iran that is administered by specified federal departments. Sets forth hostage and family member payment provisions.
