Summary
Loess Hills Preservation Act of 1999 - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to study and report to Congress on options for the protection and interpretation of the natural, cultural, and historical resources of the Loess Hills (Iowa) area, including the suitability and feasibility of designating it as a unit of the National Park System, a National Heritage Area or Heritage Corridor, or another appropriate designation. Authorizes appropriations.
