Summary
Amends the Federal Employees Pay Comparability Act of 1990 to provide for graduated interim geographic pay adjustments for General Schedule employees based on the relative proximity of their duty stations to metropolitan statistical areas with at least 4,000 General Schedule employees. Provides for higher rates of basic pay (108 percent of otherwise applicable rates) for Federal employees under statutory pay systems within the consolidated metropolitan statistical areas of which the District of Columbia and Baltimore, Maryland, are a part, with graduated pay adjustments for those employees whose duty stations are within relative proximity to such statistical areas, but not within such areas.
