Summary
Authorizes the merger or consolidation of village corporations formed within the same region of Alaska under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Permits the subsequent merger of any such merged corporations with other such merged corporations within the same region. States that such mergers shall be on mergers voted on by shareholders either before or after this bill's enactment. States that the merged corporation would be entitled to all rights and benefits of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and shall be subject to all the restrictions and obligations of such Act. Permits the elimination, under specified circumstances, of the extra rights given to nonvillage residents as part of the terms of a merger or consolidation.
