Authorizes appropriations for FY 1984 and 1985 to carry out provisions of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 (other than the payment of claims for the costs of firefighting on Federal property). Declares such funds to be additional to other authorized funds for research and development at the Center for Fire Research of the National Bureau of Standards.
