Summary

Amends the Peace Corps Act to authorize appropriations for the Peace Corps for FY 1988 and 1989. Authorizes the use of such funds for the purchase and hire of passenger motor vehicles without the total cost restrictions as set by the General Services Administration if the vehicles are purchased for the transportation, maintenance, or direct overseas support of volunteers. Revises restrictions on the cost of a replacement vehicle for any Peace Corps country representative. Permits: (1) the sale of technical publications produced by the Peace Corps; and (2) receipts from such sales to be credited to the currently applicable Peace Corps appropriation.
