Summary

Arctic Research and Policy Amendments Act of 2001 - Amends the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984 to authorize the Arctic Research Commission to make an annual award for excellence in, or for outstanding support of, Arctic research. Makes individuals who have been Commission members ineligible to receive such awards. Allows the Executive Director to: (1) make grants to persons to conduct research concerning the Arctic; and (2) make funds available to the National Science Foundation or to Federal agencies for the conduct of such research.
