River of No Return Wilderness Act of 1979

Summary

River of No Return Wilderness Act of 1979 - Amends the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate specified segments of the Salmon River, in Idaho, as part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. Designates 2,326,680 acres of specified Federal lands along the Salmon River as the River of No Return Wilderness within the National Wilderness Preservation System. Withdraws minerals in Federal lands within the river segment and wilderness area from appropriation under mining and mineral leasing laws, subject to valid existing rights. Allows the Secretary of Agriculture to restrict the use of aircraft and motorboats within the wilderness. Requires the Secretary to allow, with reasonable regulation, the grazing of livestock within the wilderness, where such activity was established prior to the enactment of this Act.
