Summary
Approves the Agreement between the Governments of the United States of America and the Republic of Turkey Relative to Defense Cooperation pursuant to Article 3 of the North Atlantic Treaty. Authorizes the President to furnish to the Government of Turkey those defense articles and defense services with respect to which funds were obligated or reserved under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 on or before February 5, 1975. Provides that the costs of Department of Defense programs and activities to be carried out with Department of Defense funds made available by the resolution shall include operational, maintenance, and other costs in connection with the use of installations in Turkey by the United States.
