Summary
Emergency Grain Standards Amendments - Provides criminal penalties for attempting to influence official inspection personnel in the discharge of their duties under the United States Grain Standards Act. Provides for the inspection of grain exported from the United States in the importing country to determine whether or not it is of the same quality as certified prior to exportation. Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to suspend or revoke the designation of an official inspection agency pending or upon a determination that such agency was not in compliance with the United States Grain Standards Act.
