Summary
Authorizes the President of the United States to issue a proclamation designating the moment of 7:00 P.M., EST, January 27, 1973, a National Moment of Prayer and Thanksgiving for the peaceful end to the Vietnam War, and the 24 hours beginning at the same time as a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. Authorizes the President to fly the American flag at the appointed hour; and urges all men and women of goodwill be urged to join in prayer that this settlement marks not only the end of the war in Vietnam, but the beginning of a new era of world peace and understanding. Requires copies of this resolution to be sent to the Governors of the several States.
