Summary

Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and Arapaho National Recreation Area Act - Establishes the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area within the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, in Colorado. Establishes the Arapaho National Recreation Area within the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and the Colorado Big Thompson project, in Colorado. Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to administer the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. Directs the Secretary to administer the Arapaho National Recreation Area to promote public recreation and enjoyment while utilizing the natural resources of the area. Provides for the acquisition of lands for the Arapaho National Recreation Area. Directs the Secretary to regulate hunting and fishing within the recreation area. Directs the Secretary to cooperate with relevant governmental agencies and private groups in the issuance of permits for facilities and services within the recreation area. Stipulates that jurisdiction over waters within the recreation area shall be determined by existing law. Directs the Secretary of the Interior to study and report to the President and the Congress concerning the feasibility of including the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area within the Rocky Mountains National Park.
