A bill to amend the Act of October 19, 1973 (87 Stat. 466), relating to the use or distribution of certain judgement funds awarded by the Indian Claims Commission or the Court of Claims.

Summary

Extends the period of time in which the Secretary of the Interior is required to submit to Congress a plan for the use and distribution of funds appropriated to pay a judgment of the Indian Claims Commission or the Court of Claims to any Indian tribe. Authorizes the Secretary to submit such plan at a later date unless such deadline is disapproved by Congress.
