Summary

Amends the Policemen and Firemen's Retirement and Disability Act to: (1) permit the payment of medical expenses incurred by a member of the U.S. Park Police in the performance of duty to be made directly by the National Park Service if the expenses are certified by the Chief, U.S. Park Police; and (2) authorize appropriations to reimburse the National Park Service for such payments. Provides indemnification for States and political subdivisions from claims by third parties for property damage or personal injury arising from activities outside of their respective jurisdictions under an agreement for cooperation with law enforcement personnel of the National Park System.
