Summary

Provides for the use and distribution of funds awarded in a judgment of the U. S. Court of Claims to the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and the Miami Indians of Indiana. Directs the Secretary of the Interior to allocate the funds between the two tribes according to the number of enrollees of each group as designated on the 1972 Miami Indians of Oklahoma and Indiana payment roll. Directs the Secretary to prepare a roll of persons of Miami Indian ancestry meeting specified requirements. Sets forth procedures by which the allocated funds are to be distributed for per capita payments and tribal investments. Exempts funds distributed by this Act from Federal, State, or local income taxes and from being used to determine eligibility under assistance programs.
