Summary
Timpanogos Interagency Land Exchange Act of 2001 - Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to exchange specified Federal lands for non-Federal lands in the Salt Lake Meridian, Utah. Provides that: (1) the property conveyed to the United States shall become part of the Uinta National Forest; and (2) any cash equalization funds received by the United States shall be available for the acquisition of land for administrative sites in Utah and for the National Forest System. Directs the Secretary of the Interior to construct and bear responsibility for construction costs of a facility to house the administrative office of the Pleasant Grove Ranger District of the Uinta National Forest and the visitor center and administrative office of the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, which shall be occupied, operated, and maintained jointly by the Secretaries of Agriculture and Interior.
