Summary
Amends the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978 to extend the transition period established by such Act from April 1, 1984, to May 1, 1984. Makes the Revised Emergency Rule prescribed by the Judicial Conference of the United States effective during the remainder of such transition period. Permits the Conference to amend such Rule if necessary in order to provide for the orderly and expeditious consideration of bankruptcy cases and proceedings in the Federal courts.
